Beginning stages of the mural I created at Upper Iowa University using spray paint and acrylic paint. Inspired by "One Thousand and One Nights" a a collection of Middle Eastern folk tales compiled in Arabic during the Islamic Golden Age. This mural was part of my solar exhibition Myths, Legends, and Fairy Tales I had at the Bing Davis Gallery November 2017.
The whole process took me about 4 days of work and I had some assistance from the visual art students at UIU.
